PLAIN-LANGUAGE PRIVACY

A clear view
of your data.

Updated 21 October 2026.

No player account or advertising

The public game does not ask for a child’s name, age, email, photograph or account. There are no advertising pixels, session-replay tools or third-party analytics scripts in the game.

Local settings, without new recordings or answer histories

This browser remembers settings such as the number of word choices and whether sounds are on. Voice recording and answer history are currently turned off. The game does not request microphone access or create new voice recordings or answer histories.

Data from earlier versions

If you used an earlier version, its locally saved answers or recordings may still remain in this browser’s storage (IndexedDB). Turning these features off does not automatically delete those older files. They are not uploaded to this website’s database, and the current game does not provide playback or export controls for them.

To remove older data, use your browser’s site-data controls to clear data for this website. This also resets local game settings and the visit-statistics preference. There is no online backup.

Website visits and completed cards

Our own website statistics record the pages opened, game openings, entry and last-seen times, and an estimate of time spent with the page visible. We also record the IP address supplied by our hosting service, its approximate country, a broad browser and device category, and a referral group such as search, social, internal or direct. An IP address can represent a shared network or a VPN; it does not identify a particular person.

Starting 17 October 2026, we also record a numeric total of correctly solved cards for each game-page visit and session. One correctly solved card counts as one completion; replaying its sound or revisiting it does not add another. From 21 October 2026, we also collect totals of answer attempts and correct answers separately for the three-, four- and five-word modes. These totals let us calculate accuracy; we do not store which words were shown, which answer was chosen, or a history of individual mistakes. Older visits may have no completion, mode or accuracy data.

A temporary tag in this tab groups page visits into a session. It expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or when the tab is closed. We do not use analytics cookies or fingerprinting, and we do not send these statistics to an outside analytics provider.

We do not store names, full browser user-agent strings, full referring URLs, search queries, answer choices, recordings or audio in our analytics database. Detailed visits older than 30 days are automatically removed when new visits are processed. Daily aggregate counts are kept separately. Reloading a page can add a view, so counts are not unique visitors.

Collection respects Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control where the browser provides them. You can turn visit statistics off in this browser below; the preference is stored only on this device and stops further collection from this browser.

Owner-only statistics

Visit details, including IP addresses, are available only through the site owner’s ChatGPT sign-in. They are not shown on public pages. This does not create an account for people playing the game. The hosting service also processes ordinary network requests to serve and protect the website.
