A few minutes together
Make room for a little conversation
- Pick a few pictures. Start with a favorite animal or something nearby. You can use the pictures on this page or print a sheet.
- Hear, then point. Tap a picture to hear its word. Invite your child to point to it, or point together. There is no score and no need to finish a pack.
- Add your own words. Try “a yellow truck” or “where is our book?” Repeat a favorite recording, name a real object, or stop when your child is ready.
For listening away from the screen, print the sheet and use the continuous track. For more time between words, play the individual files one at a time.
Your own audio playlist
Using a pack with Yoto Make Your Own
Yoto supports uploading MP3 audio to a playlist and linking it to a Make Your Own card. You will need your own Yoto account, player, and suitable card.
- Download and unzip a pack. For separate tracks, choose the eight numbered MP3s. For one uninterrupted sequence, choose only the MP3 in the
continuousfolder. - Create a playlist. Open your Yoto library, create a new playlist, and upload your chosen files. Check the order against the transcript, give the playlist a name, and save it.
- Link your card. In the Yoto app, open the saved playlist and use its card-linking option. Follow the prompts for your player and Make Your Own card.
For the current steps and supported files, see Yoto’s official Make Your Own guide ↗ and its MP3 upload instructions ↗. Guidance checked on 21 October 2026.
These packs are standard MP3 files. They have not been tested on a Yoto device. TikoPlay is independent of Yoto; the printable pictures are companion sheets, not Yoto display icons.
